About Us...
Welcome to our Training Program website. Here you can get general information about what an Operating Engineer does, learn about the different Apprenticeship programs we offer and stay up to date with our training calendar.
What we do...
We are the Training Program for the Heavy Equipment Operators. We cover all of Western Washington in the jurisdictions of IUOE Locals 302 & 612. We offer four different Apprenticeship programs, as well as Journey-level skill improvement courses. If you already have at least two (2) years experience in either Construction Equipment Operation, Surveying or Heavy Duty Equipment repair (as used in Heavy Highway and commercial buildings) you may qualify to join as a journey-level Operating Engineer. Please see our related pages for information about Local 302 or 612.
